Marisue Taube ’75 has been named the new director of the Office of Councils, which functions within the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, the University announced recently. As director, Taube will aid in coordinating and overseeing the Cornell University Council, the President’s Council of Cornell Women and the Presidential Councillors.

After graduating from Cornell, Taube worked as an administrative supervisor in the Office of the Assemblies. Taube also served as director of both development for the College of Arts and Sciences and external relations for Cornell University Library, as well as individual giving officer in Special Gifts.

“The breadth and depth of Marisue’s Cornell experiences will be tremendous assets to her in this new role,” said AAD Associate Vice President Laura Toy in a press release. “I hope the Cornell community will join me in welcoming her to this new position.”
