As you walk around campus this morning, there is a chance of rain showers. This chance of rain showers will disappear in the afternoon, however, as drier air moves into our region, suppressing any precipitation. Like I said yesterday, an omega block is shaping up over the nation, and is shifting east, which means we will be under the ridge of the omega. This means warm and sunny conditions for us, including temperatures reaching the high 60s and low 70s on Sunday and Monday. This omega block is also preventing another low pressure system, like we had earlier this week, from coming our way. Instead, a storm currently in the western part of the nation will affect the upper plains and Western Ontario. That being said, I hope everyone enjoys the weather this weekend!
