Cornell celebrated Slope Day last week, with rapper T.I. as the headline performer. He created controversy among some students on Libe Slope when he yelled at the audience and played gun shot noises. (Warning: the following videos contain explicit language.)
The rant was very similar to this performance at Bentley College’s Slope Day equivalent, Spring Day.
At Cornell, the student threw a water bottle; at Bentley, a water balloon was thrown.
T.I. also performed at Yale’s Spring Fling, Trinity College’s Spring Weekend and Slippery Rock University.
T.I. also performed at Duke’s Cameron Rocks! festival, where he created a different kind of controversy by cutting his performance short. For more on this story, click here.
