Despite Saturday’s poor conditions, the equestrian team managed to score 31 points, placing them in third place behind Skidmore and Albany (who both scored 35 points). Junior tri-captain Dana Kendrick tied for Reserve High Point Rider.
In addition to tying for Reserve High Point Rider, Kendrick placed in fifth in the Open Fences. Junior Caroline Shulman took fourth place, and junior rookie Jessica Bemis finished second in her first IHSA show.
Rookie sophomore Brooke Cagwin brought home the blue ribbon in her first IHSA show, while freshman Ashley Kass finished in second place.
