Hey y’all, how’ve you been? We’ve missed you.
Welcome to The Sun’s Arts and Entertainment Blog, which we have oh-so-cleverly titled (f)Artsy, because of both (what we hope is) our healthy ability to laugh at our own pretensions (listen to us, telling you what you should and shouldn’t like in the art/entertainment world!), and our humor that resembles that of pre-adolescent boys, which makes farting is funny.
We’re your hosts, Julie Block and Peter Finocchiaro, with our co-host Sammy Perlmutter. We’ll be blogging this summer (and throughout the year) about the arts and entertainment world. You’ll also meet our guest stars – our staff of intelligent, funny and overly-opinionated writers, who will be helping us in letting you know who and what we think are both cool and sucky in music, television, books, theatre, food, fashion and general entertainment. This summer, we’ll go to festivals – everything from the LA Film Festival to Lollapalooza — check out new albums, bands and movies, review summer television and hopefully not waste your time in the process.
