Intruder Steals Prescription Medication Bottles From Chestnut Street Residence

An unknown male subject broke into a residence on Chestnut Street at approximately 8:28 p.m. on Friday, according to the Ithaca Police Department.

Upon entering the residence, the intruder — described as a white male in his 20’s — demanded the resident’s purse, money and pills, according to IPD.

When the resident grabbed a chair to hit the intruder, the male subject took some prescription medication bottles from a table and fled, according to IPD.

The  intruder was thin built, clean shaven, wearing white sneakers and lime green medical gloves, according to IPD.
