Last year, the women’s ice hockey team put together one of its finest seasons in program history. The team secured the Ivy League title, as well as both the ECAC regular season and tournament championships. The season continued until March 16, the date of the NCAA quarterfinals, when eighth-ranked Mercyhurst beat the Red in a heartbreaking overtime loss at Lynah Rink.
