Nearly half — 45 percent — of all undergraduate degrees granted at Cornell in 2012 were in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, or “STEM” fields, according to a study by U.S. News and World Report. According to Lance Collins, dean of the College of Engineering, most STEM degrees at Cornell are offered by the three largest colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Engineering.
