WOMEN’S BASKETBALL | Two Ivy Wins Lift Red to Tie for First

The Cornell women’s basketball team continued its hot streak, beating Brown 80-70 on Friday, following that up with a strong win over Yale, 65-56 the next day.

The Red, which was 9-7 overall coming into the weekend, was coming off a powerful win against Columbia and the team’s confidence showed against Brown.

Senior guard Shelby Lyman led the team with a career-high 24 points, while four other players reached double figures, including freshman forward Nia Marshall, senior forward Allyson DiMagno and freshman point guard Kerri Moran.
