With Regionals and Nationals coming up, the women’s and men’s polo teams went into their matches this past weekend with great determination to come out on top. Both teams kept up their energy throughout, and together, earned a weekend sweep on their home field. The women’s team beat Garrison Forest, while the men’s team stole the win from the Maryland Polo Club.
Even though the Maryland Polo Club beat Cornell in a match earlier this season, the men’s polo team went into the match with confidence. The match began with its starting squad of senior captain Nik Feldman, junior Nick Stieg and freshman Ignacio Masias. However, due to injuries, the starters had not played with each other since before Winter Break.
