This semester, the Roitman Chabad Center at Cornell University — a general Jewish organization for students on campus — will take up part-time residence in the former site of the Green Cafe in Collegetown, according to Ziv Schwartz grad, vice president of Cornell Chabad.

Jason Fane, manager of the Ithaca Renting Company, agreed to let Cornell Chabad use the building part-time, free of charge, this semester, according to Marie Birk, outreach director of Cornell Chabad. The organization began using the building at the end of March.

The Roitman Chabad Center, a Jewish organization for student on campus, will temporarily occupy the former location of the Green Café, which closed in 2010.
