The Sun sat down with President David Skorton in March to discuss a range of issues including study abroad, financial aid and Greek life at Cornell.

The Sun: You said that you want to see 50 percent of undergraduates study abroad by 2020. How is the University planning for that loss in tuition?

    The owners of Gorgers Subs in downtown Ithaca will open a new late-night restaurant, The Taco Shack, on the Commons later this month. Matt Diamond — who owns Gorgers with his brother, Barton Diamond — said the location of the new restaurant, between Samurai Sushi and Casa­blanca Medi­terranean, is perfect.

    Over break, I watched 26 feature-length films. Aside from a few mediocre new releases in theaters and on Netflix, these movies were classics, either from the art house tradition or the Golden Age of Hollywood. Before you question my sanity, know that I really enjoy these kinds of movies and I had some company — Sam Bromer ’16 dedicated his column last week to praising the intellectual value of some Criterion Collection films we watched.
