Graduate Student Trustee candidates — Annie O’Toole grad and Ann Bybee-Finley grad — discussed affordability, sexual violence and University divestment while making the case for their platforms during a debate in Warren Hall Thursday.
Moderated by Sun Editor-in-Chief Haley Velasco ’15, the debate began with candidates discussing the role of the Student Trustee and their qualifications for the position.
Both candidates stressed the importance of the Student Trustee’s role in working with the student body to voice their concerns to the Board of Trustees and in tackling the issues facing the university.
