A team of students and alumni have begun building a permaculture garden in the backyard of the 660 Stewart Ave. Cooperative in honor of Chris Dennis ’13 — who disappeared shortly before his graduation — according to Katharine Constas ’15.

Dennis — who was a double major in international agriculture and rural development and communications — was reported missing in May 2013 and was last seen canoeing on Cayuga Lake. Dennis separated from his friends to canoe alone, and his canoe was later found overturned in the middle of the lake.
