Provost Fuchs Finalist for University of Florida Presidency

Provost Kent Fuchs has been named one of two contenders to become the 12th president of the University of Florida, according to Steven Scott, chair of the University of Florida President Search Committee.

If selected, Fuchs will head a research institution with an enrollment of more than 50,000 students, 4,200 full-time faculty members and an annual revenue of approximately $4.4 billion. The University of Florida boasts 16 colleges, two academic health centers, the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and more than 150 research centers and institutes.
