Navy Admiral Michelle Howard Recounts History in Veteran’s Day Address to Cornell

Michelle J. Howard, the Navy’s first female four-star admiral, acknowledged the contribution of Cornellians to the defense of the country during her Veteran’s Day speech on Tuesday.

Howard, who graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1982 and from the Army’s Command and General Staff College in 1998, came to the University to deliver the keynote address at Cornell’s Veteran’s Day Celebration.
