By ZOE FERGUSON Cornellians and local residents came together Tuesday night to hold a vigil and peaceful protest on the streets of Ithaca for Michael Brown, a black, unarmed teenager shot by police in Missouri in August. Last Monday, a grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, decided not to press charges against Darren Wilson, a white police officer, for fatally shooting the 18-year-old Brown during a confrontation on Aug. 9, The New York Times reported.
