The past few weeks have brought a barrage of bad news. I don’t know if it’s because I get a solid chunk of my news from Jezebel, or just because the world sucks for women, but it’s been difficult to be my cheerful self in the wake of Shannon Jones ’15, Cosby, the resignation of the head of my high school over mishandling the sexual harassment of students by a teacher I knew and liked and, finally, taking a deep breath and reading the Rolling Stone article about UVA.
