On Oct. 20, a woman noticed a man sitting in a vehicle and masturbating while she was parking her car. On Oct. 27, CUPD received two reports of a man in a vehicle “yelling lewd comments and making lewd gestures toward the victims, both females.”

Slater has been arraigned in the Town of Ithaca court on a class A misdemeanor for Public Lewdness. He was then remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on $2,500 bail or a $5,000 bond for a future court appearance. Additional charges are pending.

Slater is neither a student or employee of Cornell and has no affiliation with the University.
