As the top-seeded Red completed a dominant sweep of Quinnipiac, Clarkson, Harvard and Princeton also advanced to the ECAC semifinals. Recap the action from around the ECAC quarterfinals below.

Dartmouth at Harvard
The underdog Green won game one, but Olympian Ryan Donato and No. 4 seed Harvard took control in the series’ final two games to advance to Lake Placid, where it will play third-seeded Clarkson. Donato’s hat trick in game three propelled the Crimson to a 4-2 win, a night after dominating the Green, 7-1. Adam Fox scored twice in the big win to force game three.

Colgate at Clarkson
Star Colgate goaltender Colton Point made 31 saves in a 2-1 game one victory, but it wasn’t enough to topple Clarkson, whose Jake Kielly posted a shutout in a 3-0 Golden Knight victory. In game three, Clarkson’s offense showed its power, beating Point and the Raiders, 5-1.

Point and Kielly, two of the country’s best goaltenders, stole the show in games one and two, respectively, before Clarkson ran away from Colgate in the rubber match to earn a semifinal date with Harvard.

Princeton at Union
After dominating Brown with a relentless scoring attack, the Tigers went on the road and swept Union, the No. 2 seed in the conference. Princeton scored three goals in the third period of game one to take a 5-3 victory, and earned the upset sweep thanks to a dramatic game-winner in the third period of game two.

After Princeton took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission, the Dutchmen came storming back in the second to tie the game at two. As the third period wound down, David Hallisey scored with 9.5 seconds left, giving his team a 3-2 win.
