Tyler, the Creator, Florence + The Machine and The Strokes Set to Headline Gov Ball 2019

Earlier this morning, The Governors Ball Music Festival, hosted annually on Randall’s Island in New York City, announced their 2019 lineup. The festival is set to be headlined by Tyler, the Creator, Florence + The Machine and The Strokes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday May 31st through June second respectively.

Tyler, the Creator is still riding the wave of his 2017 renowned album Flower Boy, which included hit songs such as “Boredom” and “Who Dat Boy,” and is slated to perform at several other festivals in 2019.

Night two’s headliner Florence + The Machine will most likely be performing in support of their latest album High as Hope which was released last summer.

The Strokes will be repeating as Gov Ball headliners on Sunday, previously leading the New York festival’s 2016 effort.

Other standout artists booked on the ticket include Lil Wayne, Brockhampton, The 1975 and Grammy Album of the Year nominee Kacey Musgraves. You can read The Sun’s coverage of last year’s Gov Ball here.

Ticket are currently on sale for 275 dollars, the lowest they will be marked at by the festival during sales. They can be purchased here.
