Just over two weeks into President Donald Trump’s second term, Ithaca and Cornell have found themselves in the center of a national debate over diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, the limits of free speech in higher education and sanctuary city policies.
In the first episode of a new weekly radio podcast unpacking headlines about Cornell, Editor-in-Chief Gabriel Levin ’26 and staff writer Maryam Ismail ’27 join Felix Teitelbaum of WRFI, an independent local radio station, to discuss the effects of Trump's recent executive orders on the Cornell and Tompkins County communities, using three Sun articles to tell the story.
Episode one will air Friday at 2 pm and 5 pm local time on 88.1 FM in Ithaca and is available now on Spotify.
