Despite a strong pitching performance in game one, baseball lost its final series of the year against Brown.
The team went on to split the doubleheader on Saturday and dropped the third game on Sunday in a closely fought, back-and-forth finale.
Penn’s offense proved too strong for Cornell, blanking them in a series sweep.
In the three game set against Princeton, the Red fell short 2-1. Cornell was defeated again by Binghamton in their one game matchup.
Baseball continues its struggle as it loses the first Ivy game hosted at Hoy Field in nearly 3 years.

“We showed good fight in the first game,” said sophomore catcher Nathan Waugh.
Cornell baseball bounced back from a loss to undefeated University of Virginia by beating Coppin State this past weekend.
“When Nikhil’s match ended a few minutes later, securing the Championship, it was an amazing feeling having all of our teammates together and knowing the hard work we put in paid off.”
With losses to Drexel, the men’s team’s chance for qualifying the Potter Cup has been thrown into doubt and the women’s team is out of contention for the Howe Cup.
