For the first time in five years, Cornell walks away with a weekend sweep.
For its last competition before the spring, Cornell earned a second place at the Connecticut Cup.
“But then I realized that it had been working all game, so I just went for it, swung with all my might, and it was a kill.”
I’m confident that we can be very successful if we just keep preparing like we have been and with the team we have right now.
“I thought we executed pretty well and we were able to stick together and just help each other.”
“Obviously there are some things we need to work on, but I’m really happy with what I saw on the field,” said head coach John Smith.
Cornell enters the upcoming season with its disappointing performance in the Ivy League Cross Country Heptagonal Championships fresh in its mind.
Dennison’s new role will entail supervision of the program, coordinating training and establishing a budget, among other responsibilities.
Seven of Cornell’s last nine games will be against Ivy foes.
“If he needs someone to do his daughter’s homework, we have a guy for that.”
