While students waited hours last year to try to enter the career fair, students this year were able to breeze into Barton Hall.
At Cornell, students have the opportunity to be at the only Ivy-League institution to retain all three branches of service.
“As somebody who is very passionate about this because of our own tragedy, I can tell you how the heart was lifted by seeing this kind of thing,” said Scott MacLeod, father of Sophie MacLeod ’14.
“Once I got to Cornell, I really started to think about my sense of identity,” Cárdenas said. “I became free to have choices to be able to distinguish myself from the average Cornell student because I didn’t come from the same upbringing.”
Rosenfeld, who took a class on racial and ethnic identity development at Cornell, saw connections between the psychology of race and vegetarianism.
“I believe in equal rights for everyone, and I believe that Planned Parenthood isn’t about helping women,” Melody Zimmerman, President of the Students for Life club at Ithaca College said.
Members of BART— a team that strives to give students, faculty and staff a way of reporting and providing resources for people subjected to any form of harassment or harm — presented information about current statistics as well as defined their role and limitations as an organization.
The Planning and Development Board of Ithaca met Tuesday night to discuss final details for additional Collegetown housing, approving three separate apartment complexes.
