The men’s heavyweight crew will compete against Yale and Princeton at home this weekend in an Ancient Eight trimeet.

The men’s heavyweight rowers will compete against Syracuse for the Goes Trophy tomorrow.

Senior Nathan Ford tripled to right in the seventh inning to drive in Brian Billigen and Scott Hardinger. Ford would go on to score later in the inning, giving the Red a three-run lead.

Flying V

The varsity-8 is the most important race for all three crew teams. The men’s heavyweight varsity-8 cruised this weekend, the lightweight crew took a tough loss, while the women had trouble in its varsity events.

Perfect timing

The women’s rowing team will compete for the Class of 1975 Cup at Lake Carnegie in New Jersey. Also competing will be Harvard and Princeton.
