The Cornell women’s lacrosse team continued its commanding season, toppling Cal, 12-4, on Wednesday. The Red (6-0, 2-0 Ivy), remains one of only three undefeated NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse teams accompanied by No. 7 USC and No. 1 Maryland. “It definitely feels good.
The junior track and field athlete competed in the IC4A Championships this weekend held at Boston University. The team as a whole placed 13th.
After a long losing streak, the Red managed to end the season on a high note with a win against Brown.
With two games left in the season, the Cornell men’s basketball team hopes to end its eight game losing streak in Newman Arena this weekend. Sitting in last place in the Ivy League, the Red looks to use these concluding games to improve as a young, cohesive unit. Although Cornell (9-17, 2-10 Ivy) had difficulty coming out with victories against Penn (12-13, 6-5) and Princeton (20-5, 10-1) this past weekend, there were a number of positives from the games. Junior guard Robert Hatter had a stellar offensive night against Penn, tallying 31 points. He was able to connect 12-of-21 shots from the floor, including 4-of-8 from the 3-point range.

The Cornell men’s basketball (9-15, 2-8 Ivy) team suffered another pair of losses against conference opponents Dartmouth (9-15, 3-7) and Harvard (9-15, 3-7) at home. Weathering a six-game losing skid, the Red hopes for better luck when they travel to Penn and Princeton this weekend.
