Patrick Dai ’24, a Cornell engineering student, was arraigned in the Northern District of New York on a federal charge for threats over interstate communication. He waived his right to a detention hearing.
A Cornell University student was changed on Tuesday in connection with the antisemitic threats posted online this weekend. Patrick Dai ’24 was interviewed by the FBI at the Cornell Police Department on Wednesday and admitted to posting the messages.
A suspect is in custody in connection to the antisemitic threats posted on the platform Greekrank this weekend. It is still unknown whether the suspect is affiliated with Cornell University.
