This year’s Giving Day raised over 12 million dollars for participating University clubs and organizations.
Roughly every other Wednesday at 5 p.m., a dozen or so Cornellians gather in 158 Stocking Hall. This room, however, isn’t your ordinary lecture hall. It’s a fully decked-out kitchen supplied with baking tools from loaf pans to whisks and furnished with four ovens. Every two weeks, Bread Club meets to bake a new type of bread from scratch.
For many first-year students, this Sunday’s Fall ClubFest will be the first introduction to Cornell’s many student groups — from dance troupes to professional fraternities, dozens of organizations will be performing, showcasing their activities and recruiting new members.
The changes were suggested by students, faculty and administrators alike, according to Grant, who said that they have “received positive feedback for the events that used these procedures.”
