There were still a handful of bright spots from the tournament, including three top-five finishes for the B division team as well as a victory in the fourth race of the weekend.

Myers secured her second consecutive Singlehanded championship in Annapolis and Cornell placed third in the Cayuga Invite.
“The team has worked hard these past few weeks,” first year Sophia Fogarty, a member of the B division crew, said. “I felt confident going into racing on Saturday that we had the ability to perform well.”
“We proved again that we’re one of the best programs in the country,” said senior captain Alex Fowkes.

The fall season will allow Cornell to prepare for spring, where it hopes to earn a spot in the national championships.
The A division finished eighth overall with 85 points, following Penn and beating out King’s College and George Washington University.
“We know we’re capable of being really successful … our goal is to continue to work hard and peak at the right times.”
