Students can now purchase Plan B, pregnancy tests and condoms from a vending machine in the lobby of Cornell Health.
Intuitively, everyone would benefit from the widespread acceptance of men undergoing vasectomies before sexual maturity. Both sexes would be freer to focus on developing stable lives before even thinking about pregnancies or babies. When a couple does decide the time is right, all they would have to do is ring up a urologist.
“I came for the pole and stayed for the posse,” says Veronica Wertz ’21, one of the fourteen students performing in Cornell Pole Posse’s first annual showcase this Friday to benefit Planned Parenthood.
Alumnus Dr. Spitz, author of a recent book on the male reproductive organ, has been a guest on daytime television shows like Dr. Phil and CBS’s The Doctors.
“Ivy Leaguers love to be on top, and we’re not just talking academics,” according to Trojan Condom’s 2008 Sexual Health Report Card, their annual ranking of sexual health resources at American colleges and universities. This year, Cornell placed third out of 139 schools ranked, up from last year’s spot of 63rd.
According to Trojan Condom’s website, their ranking system represents each state and major athletic conference in the country, and measures the availability of sexual health resources and information on college campuses.
