The start-up Dwelling connects homeowners with professionals, how-to videos and resources to provide remote repairs during the pandemic.
“The online ecommerce experience is competing with the in-store experience,” Makar said. “It’s going to be as good or better of an experience than it is in store. Ultimately, stores will adapt how they operate as more business comes through online.”
Students enrolled in large, intro-level classes know the feeling: looking around for a familiar face on the first day, and not knowing a single person. By the end of the semester, the faces are familiar, but their names are still a mystery.
