In its monthly meeting, Ithaca Common Council opened up floors for residents to voice their concerns and issues. Mayor Laura Lewis appointed a new fire chief, and the Common Council voted in favor of the new labor contract of public workers.
To supplement what they learn in the law school classroom with real-life experience, Cornell law students participate in courses, dubbed “clinics,” where students assist real clients with real legal problems.

Students, professors, and faculty filled up all the seats in the lecture room, some even sitting on the stairs or forced to stand.
