The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will visit Cornell next Tuesday when they bring their 90th anniversary world tour to Newman Arena in Bartels Hall. The Globetrotters, known for their in-game stunts, theatricality and comedy, will make their first trip to Ithaca since 2013.
The Globetrotters, however, will not play the Generals, whom the team dropped as their contractual opponent in August of 2015. Over the course of their “rivalry,” the Globetrotters has beat the Generals over 16,000 times.
The event at Newman will feature an autograph, photograph and high-five session for all fans in attendance. Tickets to see the Globetrotters play range from $25 to $68, depending on seating location.
