Eneli will hope to get game time in the two games during the window — Saturday, Jan. 18 against Venezuela and Thursday, Jan. 23 against Costa Rica.
“Pittsburgh is definitely going to be a tough opponent,” Harris said. “But we feel like we have what it takes to beat them.”

No. 16 Men’s soccer (12-2-2, 5-2 Ivy) closed out its regular season schedule with a convincing 4-1 senior night victory over Columbia (1-12-1, 1-5-1 Ivy) on Saturday at Berman Field. In the 13th minute, sophomore forward Alex Harris opened the scoring. A ball on the ground from junior midfielder Daniel Samways came all the way through the box, untouched by Columbia defenders. Harris took a one-time shot and found the corner to give Cornell a lead it would maintain for the rest of the game.
“We created a few solid chances and could have had a couple of goals, yet at half time we are 3-1 down. That’s the game sometimes.”
“I’m very proud of the season we’ve had so far. It’s going to come down to conference play, and we’re heading in the right direction.”
The Red’s 4-0-2 record marks the longest undefeated start to the season since 2013 when the team started 6-0-2.
The team now awaits its NCAA Tournament fate as it falls out of contention for the Ivy Tournament.
