Heading into the final weekend of Ivy League play, Cornell is 9-3, behind 10-2 Yale and 11-1 Princeton.
While Cornell did defeat Penn, it lost a 2-0 lead against Princeton and its first-place spot in the conference standings.
The Red’s second outing against the Lions mirrored its first matchup as it picked up another clean victory.
Cornell’s winning streak finally came to an end with a 3-1 loss to Yale.

Cornell extended its winning streak to eight games as it defeated both Princeton and Penn on the road.
After a 3-0 win over Columbia to open Ivy League play, the Red is looking to keep its winning streak going.
“We came out a little sloppy in that first set, and this team decided they didn’t want it that way. They really took control of the match … it was easy to coach.”
Cornell is 7-2 heading into a long stretch of Ivy League contests.
On Saturday, Cornell first swept Utah State University with a 3-0 defeat. They won 25-13, 25-21, and 25-11 in each of the three sets. Sophomore outside Madison Baptiste and senior middle blocker Jada Stackhouse had 12 and eight kills, respectively.
