A New Day at CTA

Sitting on the cusp of Collegetown, just past the Cascadilla Creek Gorge, The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts is arguably one of the most modern and intriguing buildings on (or, rather, just off of) the Cornell campus. Covered in pale marble, the building has been home to the department of Theatre, Film and Dance since it opened its doors in 1989.

Responsible for numerous theatrical productions throughout the year, the Center for Theatre Arts (CTA) produces its own shows in addition to hosting visiting performing arts groups, including various dance troupes.
