After a sweep over Army and Binghamton last weekend in the Army-Binghamton tri-meet in West Point, N.Y., the men’s and women’s cross country teams head to Rochester this weekend for the Yellow Jacket Invitational.

Last year, the women’s team took first place at the Invitational, placing five runners in the top 11. The Red beat out 11 other schools for the first place finish, but just narrowly topped Western Ontario by a margin of four points.

The men’s team finished third at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in 2011, despite running mostly freshmen and sophomores in the race.

This year, both squads are prepared to place well in the meet again after impressive first place finishes on Saturday.

Senior Katie Kellner looks to remain dominant after yet another first place finish against Army and Binghamton, and sophomore Ben Potts will try to build off his first place finish as well.
