Going to the gym is hard; it requires a level of dedication that I don’t have. I always start off the semester great, but as the weather becomes colder and the work piles on, I find myself going less and less until suddenly I realize that it’s the end of October and I haven’t gone since September. Yikes! How do I combat this slump? Why, by purchasing some new gym clothes of course! There’s nothing a new outfit can’t do, so I’ve listed the best places to find athletic wear online.
Lucy offers fashionable sports clothes. Their sale section is vast, equipped with an awesome collection of greatly reduced prices on pants and shirts that caters to those on a tight college budget or to those who simply don’t feel like spending over $70 for yoga pants. I mean c’mon— that’s even more expensive than jeans! You can shop for clothes based on the type of activity you prefer to do like yoga, training, running and exploring. Their pants are organized by fit, which is pretty neat.
Lululemon is mostly known for their overpriced yoga clothes, however they do have a section for runners. Recently, they added spinning under their features categories, which is pretty nifty since it tends to be one of the forgotten gym activities. Their clothes are expensive, even in their sale section. However, if you’re looking to splurge, this a great place to do it!
The Clymb delivers some awesome sales up to 70 percent off on all sports related clothes, shoes and accessories. This online e-commerce store is membership only, but not to worry because it’s free and open to everybody! Although the clothes offered might not always be to your taste, there will definitely come a time that they will offer something you’ll love.
Target is the bomb when it comes to affordable athletic clothing. It offers the best quality in relation to their prices. All the workout clothes I’ve bought from there have lasted me years, which is something I can’t say for other places. Their active wear section features goodies such as multi-colored tops for just $12.99, long-sleeved shirts for $24.99 and black-and-grey tights for $24.99. If you’re looking for some good quality but cheap outfits, this is definitely the place to go.
Old Navy offers the same type of sportswear clothes that Target does and the quality is pretty decent, albeit just a tad under par when compared to that of Target’s athletic apparel. Nonetheless, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for active wear that doesn’t cost more than your regular clothes.
