Ludacris, Matt and Kim Will Perform on Slope Day

Rap artist Ludacris will perform on Slope Day on May 8, the Slope Day Programming Board announced Thursday. Indie rock group Matt and Kim will open.

Hailing from Atlanta, Ga., Ludacris debuted in 2000 with his first album Back for the First Time. Most recently, he released his single “Party Girls” alongside artists Jermih, Wiz Khalifa and Cashmere Cat.

Matt and Kim — known for their hit singles “Daylight” and “Let’s Go,” formed in 2004 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Their self-titled album debuted in Oct. 2006. Since then, the group released three aditional albums.

Slope Day Programming Board is still working to secure the last opener of the concert.
