Entering 2014 with a decade-low No. 17 ranking in the Inside Lacrosse preseason poll, the Cornell men’s lacrosse program had something to prove. Interim head coach Matt Kerwick’s team finished a two-month-long response to the skeptics Saturday, closing out the regular season slate with a big win against a rival most had predicted the better team months before.
