Cornell Sweeps Yale
After a 2-1 squeaker in the home opener, the Red sealed a trip to Lake Placid with a 4-2 win over the Elis. Doug Murray’s shorthander was the big goal in game 1, while Matt McRae tallied the gamewinner in the sequel. Travis Bell also added his third career goal in game 2.

Red Clinches Ivy Title
Cornell bid the Class of 2002 farewell with a 5-3 win on last year’s Senior Night. However, a Dartmouth loss to Yale the same evening gave the Red its first Ivy League crown since 1997.

Matt McRae scored a pair of goals and brother Mark racked up three assists as the Class of 2003 experienced its first win over Harvard, 6-2, at Bright Hockey Center.
