Students Call Blood Drive Policy Homophobic

Direct Action to Stop Homophobia, in collaboration with Gannett Health Services, ran a blood drive at the Straight yesterday; however, not all donations were welcome.

DASH ran the blood drive, Give Blood Because We Can’t, to raise awareness about a FDA policy that does not allow men who have had sex with other men since 1977 to donate blood.
