Collegetown Residents Urged to Move Cars for Ithaca Street Cleaning

Print More

Starting next week, the streets of Collegetown should be looking much cleaner as the result of a City of Ithaca initiative. However, because of the cleaning, Collegetown residents with cars should check the City of Ithaca’s website for the posted schedule of street cleanings — otherwise, they may end up with a parking ticket or towed car.

A press release from the city urges “residents who park on the street [to] watch for street signs and check on their cars daily from Mar. 22 to Apr. 23.” Affected streets will be posted with “No Parking” signs up to 24 hours in advance of the cleaning.

The full schedule can be found on the city’s website
