With hopes of encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting economic growth in the region, Cornell and two partnering schools announced Thursday that they will open a business incubator in downtown Ithaca.
The Downtown Ithaca Incubator, housed in the Carey Building on 314 E. State St., will give entrepreneur hopefuls a co-working space from which they can conceptualize, form and launch businesses, according to Tom Schryver ’93 MBA ’02, executive director for new venture advancement at Cornell.
