MEN’S LACROSSE | Red Defeats Michigan In Overtime Thriller

This Saturday, the Cornell men’s lacrosse team traveled to Ann Arbor, M.I. to face the Michigan Wolverines for the first time in NCAA history. While the Red ultimately came out on top with a 15-14 overtime victory, the game was intense from start to finish.

Junior attackman Matt Donovan was instrumental for the Red with five goals, including the overtime goal that gave Cornell the win. In addition, junior midfielder Connor Buczek, senior midfielder Dan Lintner, sophomore midfielder John Edmonds and junior midfielder John Hogan led Cornell’s offense. Senior midfielder Doug Tesoriero broke Cornell’s record for career face-off wins, going 15-of-33 on the day.
