Three days after cruising to a victory on the road at Colgate, the Red (3-1, 1-1 Ivy) earned its first win in Ivy League play against Columbia (1-2, 0-2 Ivy) on Saturday.

Cornell jumped on the Lions early in the first half, racing out to an 8-2 lead by halftime. The six-goal advantage would prove to be more than enough for the Red to close out the game, as the defense held Columbia to just four more goals in the second half, finishing with a 13-6 victory.
