As one walks through the Ithaca Commons, it’s hard to miss the red awnings of Simeon’s. The restaurant is a self-proclaimed “gourmet casual” bistro specializing in American cuisine. Upon entering the main dining room, the space’s ambience becomes clear; the marble floors, elongated bar, wooden tables and chairs and natural lighting provide a sense of comfort and an escape from the busy corner that Simeon’s has been situated on for the last 39 years.
