Utility replacement work on the intersection of Campus Road and East Avenue will detour numerous bus routes beginning Thursday, a Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit press release announced.
Buses — including the 10, 30, 92, 51 and 70 lines — will serve alternate stops on Tower Road, Garden Avenue and Campus Road, the release said.
The changes — which are detailed on the TCAT website — include relocating all Collegetown and Sage Hall stops, according to the release.
Several bus lines began running “major” detours around Collegetown construction on June 13, The Sun previously reported.
TCAT also plans to offer free service to the Ithaca Community Fireworks in Stewart Park Sunday night — picking up and dropping off passengers from its Salvation Army, Green Street and Seneca Street stops — the organization said in a release Wednesday.
