The rally is in response to a memo obtained by the New York Times in which the Trump administration said it is working to establish a legal definition of sex under Title IX such that gender is “on a biological basis that is clear, grounded in science, objective and administrable.”
The new College of Arts and Sciences curriculum proposal passed Tuesday. The changes will allow students to take sign language to fulfill the college’s language requirement and will have a “social difference” requirement. The college is hoping to implement these changes in Fall 2020.
